Suggestion: Design Contest Forum

Hey, can we have a design contest forum added here? Maybe a subforum in the graphic design forum would be nice...we have a lot of talented freelance designers here.

We had one, and it was rarely used. They tried to get it popular again but it flopped.

People just dont seem interested

If I remember rightly, the freelance designers we all far too busy earning a crust with client work to spend some time away designing for fun, especially "without guarantee of getting paid for the work". I'm also not too sure that we actually do have "a lot of talented freelance designers here".

No King Justice, if you read above (particularly Salathe's post) you'll find that the reason why it was removed was that people generally did not like the fact that they're not guaranteed payment for the work they've completed.

Well then I'll just continue to host them and refer talented designers here...I'll lure them from other popular webmaster forums to participate in my design contests here, mwa hahahaha!
