  Old  <div>'s vertical expansion problem

Hello,

In firefox browser I am having trouble with my <div>'s not expanding out height-wise appropriate to its content. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, depending on the refresh. All other browsers seem to work fine regarding this. I have attached 2 screenshots to help explain. Any ideas on what I need to set this <div>'s style to to accomedate this appropriatly in FF?

Try putting a <br clear="all" /> before your very last </div>

And give it a doctype.

Shouldn't it be <br style="clear: both" />

Tryed the break clear in several places, still doesn't seem to be fixing the issue.

By the way, what does the clear attribute do? I was looking through W3Schools and couldnt find anything on it.

Any more ideas?

Thanks so much.

Whenever I am in this members area and am clicking around on the links there in the middle area (Knowledgebase, support tickets, client area, announcments) specifically, it seems to happen quite often. Can anyone else confirm this as well?

What type of browser settings would cause that?

Your layout appears fine to me as well (in Firefox). Have you tried testing with a different PC?
