Actually she isn’t the easiest beast to create ‘Styles’ for, but probably not as tough as Vbulletin. I generally go poking around at the existing pieces of a style I like and take it from there.
You will as mentioned need to learn how to design, cut and code via image editor and get a basic knowledge of CSS as well.
