Is it possible to buy a sticky post on TF?
If yes, how much does this costs?

Thanks for your reply Big Zee!
Do you have any plans to offer this in new future?
I don't see any harm in doing this.. this will even open a new source of income for TF

This idea sucks. Stickies are a way for members to read important information. Not about advertising. Cant see this happening.

I understand both points of the arguments! BUT!

Couldnt tf offer paid for stickies in the marketplace forums? Its what its for, advertising. People go there to view adverts...so it would get viewed.

It'd be a nice little earner for tf i think!

If that were the case, why do all the stickies have so many views? And why is the market place quite successful (people do view ad's).

stillt, if you look at the views of the stickies, consider how long they have been up, compared to views for like either contests or even just regular threads, its low.

I also see both points of this arguement, but . . . what about instead of buying sticky threads buying threads that stand out like with a white background - this could be paid for and could also attract visitors to the thread for those people who can afford to buy them.

Or how about TFL isn't flooded with colourful threads and ads? Yeah? Sounds good to me.
