Anti-Drug Group Logo

Name of the contest: Logo for Anti-Drug Group at School
Initial Deadline for "1st drafts": Wednesday, March 12th
Final Revision Deadline: March 17th
Prize & Delivery method: $40 paid through PayPal
In addition to 3 months worth of text-links on Imusion Studio which regularly go for about $26.
Deliverables: The final format must be in FULL VECTOR FORMAT! This can be either Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw's vector formats.

Contest brief: Well first let me explain that I need a logo designed for a local school group. The idea of the group is to confront the growing problem with drugs in our community. We are looking to get a logo done to bring more awareness to our campaign and group so that others can join our efforts in fighting this problem.

Here is a quick idea of what we sorta wanted.

The inside we want changed though. The idea behind it is that there are 3 arrows that surround the piece in the middle. On each of these arrows, the letters "STAND" should be imprinted like that on the arrows. For the inside instead of the face we wanted like a group of maybe 5 "people" or figures; 3 in the front, 2 in the back and the one in the front center should be emphasized a little and looking like he is taking a stand. The style of the design is up to you but please make sure that the style is kept to a "minimum" as this may be printed on letterheads and tshirts so we need to be able to easily transfer these onto shirts if need be.

I have already talked to Bazza about bending the minimum amount for the logo because this is for a non-profit organization. I know $40 is not much for a logo but we urge you to open your hearts and help us by donating your skills and talents. This will help us be able to further bring awareness to the group and ultimately confront the problem with drugs in the community.

Colours: This again is up to you. Just try to keep it fairly colourful and not dull and dark. We want the logo to display a sign of hope and not gloom.

Other information: Like I said before, this needs to be presented in FULL VECTOR format for the final version.
