New forum
It's just going to create a whole bunch of spam, seriously, I know everyone assumes I just **** on all new ideas but who came up with this? Isn't this what for "other offers & requests" is for? Isn't there even any restrictons on posting limits? I think you're going to have alot of problems with this.

I'm not saying it's like a major bad idea, but it surely is advertising and should be within the marketplace? I also can't see the difference between this and "other offers & requests", they're the same thing. Plus, putting it in the top ruins the structure of the forum, which makes it look weird.

how does it ruin or spam anything, people like to read articles and blog posts, i see no problem with it and its not even a marketplace or request/offer. so it really shouldnt even be in there. if anything get rid of the others

It says website updates, launches etc....so basically anyone could plug ANY site there, there isn't a min post count, there isn't a "advertise once per week", it's a free for all....it essentially takes away the point of the "other offers and requests", surely talkfreelance wants to keep spam free? This will only attract the type of people who post on namepros and such.......your end up getting guys making very minimal changes to sites just to advertise.
"Hi, we added a new link"
"Hey, check our new banner!"
"We have added a new flash game"
Just you wait....

Its not a offer or request, so what your saying has no stand point. Me posting a recipe, to all those who want to cook, on my blog, and posting the thread in there, is perfect idea.
Zane Jamal posting about his new comparison, or article on current events, how is that spam.
Even someone new coming and posting about their site, isnt spam. And no offense robson, and big zee, its not like there isnt plenty of spam as is even before that.

So why isn't it in the marketplace? It's still advertising. It also means I could quite easily post about BidJam every single day by simply adding a new auction or something.

You constantly post about Bid Jam as is, its not like they won't put a rules to this forum its brand new. You seriously are getting on my nerves with your constant criticism of everything they do.
I loved when you ran tfl, or so i thought, and i defended your being kicked, but damn get over it for now.
They just opened the forum and you want a rule set directly now as if they werent ever going to put one in.

Seriously, who are you? I'm not even talking to you, this forum is for suggestions and feedback, that's what i'm giving, it's here for the staff to see and take note of. Therefore, stay out of my thread.

okay a suggestion is great, specially something thats going to help and not cause problems, but when the suggestion is "get rid of it because i dont like it and think kids will spam even though i do with bidjam"
thats not a suggestion
your first post was great, it said that you think some rules should be implaced, but how long did you give them to even make some up. like a grand total of 2 minutes.
