I presumed you could just disable signature images from what people had posted, either way can't a mini mod be developed as part of the new TFL, problem solved

Why not just restrict this to freelancing forums? I don't see how a site talking about a different area in the webmastering field would hurt Talkfreelance.

I like that there won't be a limit....or well, maybe there should be a limit but at least not two....maybe I donno, say...10 lol

as for color, I do agree..sorry forget who said it on the first page...so long as one doesn't do the whole rainbow font thing....i tend to like to be able to distinguish my different links with different colors

as far as images, I donno about completely getting rid of sig images...but maybe limit the size of them maybe a standard banner size (468x60) and under x KB/MB of space

or max size 500x100 to give more flexibility to button sizes
though with the largest image allow no text
somewhere in the middle allow x amount of text
something along these lines...trying to keep sig hieght (text and/or img) to 100px or below
