  Old  Music Player Software

What music player software do you all prefer to run on your machines? I used to use the full version of Winamp and liked it, but ever since I upgraded to Windows 7, I get an error during installation. The error's not a show-stopper, but I'd prefer not to use it until they come out with a *fully* compatible version where I don't have to worry about certain functions not working.

I've been using iTunes, but I've never really liked it. I'm not too fond of the interface, and it takes upward of 30 seconds for it to load. I know that may not seem like a whole lot, but by the time I get to about the 15-second mark, I start to wonder something is wrong (did the application freeze?).

I've tried installing Songbird (even though it doesn't yet have CD ripping/burning support), but I discovered that it's not yet compatible with 64-bit OSes

For those of you who have PCs, what application do you like for playing music?

The 32bit version should work on 64bit.

For music? You mean strictly for music? For me there are only 2 programs... foobar2k and aimp. Atm I`m AIMP user, due to features you get without plugins, however foobar2k is more customizeable if you need it.

All the genial is always simple, so my choice is Winamp because of its simpleness and friendly attitude

Hah, me too. The good old Winamp. Spiderplayer is pretty awesome as well.
I am not really an iPod fan... Still haven't figured out why though...

I use the Media Player Classic with 'k-lite codec pack'. Runs everything!
