Bah, I game just fine on Linux... CS: S, Medal of Honor, WoW, ut2k4, etc.

No such thing. I get better frames in CS: S on linux than windows. 60-70 vs 40-45. Unreal is native to linux, no wine, so is medal of honor. WoW runs about the same.
FarCry I get WAY better performance, nearly 30% better frame rates.
Sure being a linux gamer takes a bit more work now and then, but it's nice to promote something that doesn't take away my control over my system.
Trackmania doesn't do well though

Ya, 7 works fine with Wine. It's one of the supported apps.

I don't like linux much, just a bizzare feel to it. windows doesn't crash anymore (hasn't crashed on me in almost a year), its plenty fast and has compatibility with most things. The only thing I can see against it is that its MS, which if thats a sin, apple is 10x worse.

Im not sure if you live in the UK or where you do live has this, but if you see it buy the latest 'PC Format' magazine. It contains an additional mini-mag that tells you all about Vista and includes a tutorial on how to multi-boot XP and Vista
