  Old  MBP question

Hey guys,
I'm thinking about buying a MBP, I want the 13" one, my current 15" laptop is too big.

I have a question about the graphics card: is there a big difference between these:
"NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics" vs "NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory"
The first one is more expensive, and I have no problem spending a little more, but the laptop with the second graphics card can work longer on a single battery charge (10 vs 7 hours)

I don't know much about hardware, and I don't think I'll be neading a very good card, so that's why I'm asking.

Also, do all MBP's have an illuminated keyboard? They don't explicitly write it on some models, and I'd really like to have that feature.

Yes they all have illuminated keyboards.

With regards to your first question, it's entirely dependant on what you intend to use the computer for. Have you considered buying something better for a cheaper price (there are plenty of computers out there).

If you want OSX it runs on most hardware these days, so objectively there isn't a particularly valid reason to buy an MBP.

All 13" laptops are quite expensive though. I would like to try OSX out, and I have tried installing "hackintosh". It's not bad, but you can't really call it the same thing.

If I could find a 13" laptop with the same battery life and same hardware for less I would consider it. But I've looked around and a MBP doesn't seem like a bad investment. $1020 for this one, with the cheap graphics card.

I have the one with the cheaper graphics card and it works fine for me. I don't play any video games though. If you do i'd get the better one.

I think the next generation mbp are gonna come out soon, I'd wait.
