OK, i made a new banner which i actually like (WOW!), i made a nav bar which i think is decent with the header, and im pondering on how to layout the content. Here is what im looking at so far. Comments appreciated.

The header needs to be much bigger i think its nice to have a lot of pictures especially on a church one. A picture of the church on a sunny day would look great maybe with somebody standing smiling infront of it. The navigation needs to be much bigger, at least 20px+ I would make it 30 px maybe with a script font.

The second revision definaty looks much better. I dont like the black border around the silver navigation. i suggest lowering the opacity of the black lines or change then to a lighter grey. Good luck with the design iam interested in seeing a final result.
