It looks decent. I would suggest that you work on alignement, and creating better shapes. Some of the shapes in the category headers are atrocious.

The design itself doesnt look so bad but the part that says 'top' and the area around it...looks a bit ragged. Other than that, the style overall isnt bad.

i dont like all the shiny star **** but it's overall a very attractive design imo.

I like the updated version alot better. GREAT JOB!

It looks cluttered, and the text, in some areas more than others, looks horrible. Not to mention, it has a boring and unoriginal color scheme. Not even the effects compliment it (trendwhored maybe?). Sorry for such harsh words, but I'm in a critical mood. Better luck next time.

I cant say I agree with you on the trendwhored comment, as I dont see many designs like this...mite just be me and the colours worked well, so I dont understand what your geting at ? as far as unorigional go, erm,...I havnt see many like it, so to me it is origional, sory I just havnt seen many so i didnt know .

It's not even that, though. I find the color scheme more boring because of the way it is implemented. Also, the trendwhored effects I'm referring to are the wavy gradients in the banner. Sorry if I sounded mean, though. I think you have potential when it comes to designing; I just don't like this piece of yours.
