well to be honest if you posses the skills to do it i dont see why not give it for free i mean after all you guys know the language and php and mysql was given to you for free as open source also. Doesnt that give you a right to give back to the community by giving free scripts instead of making money out of an open source coding language?
i understand its going to take time and effort but there is still simple free CMS systems out there.

Just because it's natural doesn't mean it should be free. You are paying for the labor to get it, the tools used to get it, shipment, change from crude oil to gasoline, etc. costs a lot of money.
