  Old  Paying yearly

Hey guys

Would you rather pay yearly or monthly for your hosting. If you were guaranteed 30 days money back to settle any unsure thoughts would you prefer to pay your hosting yearly or monthly?

Paying monthly I've noticed can be a struggle to some people who have massive running costs, but wouldn't handling one annual fee per year for your hosting needs be better?

Just wondering if you would prefer pay yearly or not.

Thanks

I would prefer to pay annually, however the option is only really available to the people who can afford it. Weather it's a saving or not, it only matters if the customer has enough money to subscribe yearly right at the moment, so for those who cannot afford it is out of luck.

It's like a give and take situation, your either rich and you can save, or poor and spend more.

Figuring out a solution for this would be great on your behalf!

I like the idea you pulled up there about the savings and spending.

I'm going to be covering an article on how people pay for hosting via monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annual subscriptions shortly. I'm just after a few ideas from the crowd.

Cheers Adam

I pay monthly, and I always have. Usually because I'm not tied in to a year, and because the saving is usually minimal.

Dependable on the saving, I would consider paying annually.

I'd pay annually for a lower overall cost, and because I don't like having the constant outgoing every month.

I will never pay annually. What if the hosting goes from excellent to crap? I'd be out of a lot of money that could be invested in something better. I feel much safer paying monthly, so that if things go sour (which they have and always will) then I can get out and switch hosts.

Monthly, I rarely have the money at any given time to pay for a year of hosting. Paying for a year is just too much of a risk. If I find a better host I want to be able to move without significant loss, or if the host goes bad I am not stuck. Simply put, I will never pay annually.

I'd rather pay monthly. I like being in control of having the decision whether I stay with the hosting company or not at the end of each month. (Not that I would need to worry with my present one of course! :P)

I have just invested in a yearly account on hostedfx. I have faith in Gareth, and have never been let down.

I've also heard many good things about EarnersHost, i'd be equally likely to sign up there if you did provide a yearly account.

I would pay monthly, you never know when a problem may arise.
