As I see it Rick only uses similar style, not really as replicating the elements and just changing the colors.

btw, Good Designers Copy, Great Designers Steal is a good article.

Have you actually read the article VimF.

This is a good quote;

This article wouldn’t be complete without a warning to be careful when copying well-known sources. If I were to summarize this warning in one sentence, this would be my golden verbiage: copy the inspiration, not the outcome.

To you the designer, the article reads like this. To the webmasters who just want a good design at half the price, it reads much differently. They could care less about lofty ideas like "creativity." All they want is to make their websites presentable.

How do you think I know about the article in the first place? I read Sitepoint.

But I guess I do understand it a little different, well I'm not a designer after all.

Yes I do. The biggest joke is Aftermath selling designs for $200. He starts threads on here but never sells for over $100.

He has the largest e-ego I have ever seen.

Seriously, people designing for less than $100 is a joke. Aftermath provides high standard and quality design's for VERY cheap. The webdesign buisness is becoming a joke nowaday's, designers try to sell for around $50, which lower's the customers budget down. Look at digitalpoint for example, full of little kid's that think $20 is a really good price for a template coded in valid xhtml and css, seriously It's becoming a joke now.

Patrick, you should really stop flaming Aftermath, your just digging yourself in a giant hole. I for one, would back Aftermath over you, mainly because of your inappropriate rudeness towards him, when he didn't even ask for an opinion. Also, It's FAR better to have a large ego than a small ego, It proves he's going to get somewhere in life.

Has no one ever noticed that Aftermaths work is based on Anthonys? So why are you guys complaining about this? Because he doesn't have 2000 posts like him, and he admits he was inspired by his work?
