Yeah, but it's talking about copyrighted music. I don't see where anyone has mentioned they have used p2p to download music or warez or anything of that nature.

Napster is currently LEGAL. He never quoted a time period at which he did it. As do, by you saying so, HEARSAY does not hold up well without PROOF. Why be rude? He hasn't said he downloaded copyrighted music, programs,..etc.

Basically, the ones that you pay for are legal, the ones that are free are illegal..
If you're caught sharing or downloading, you get a hefty bill, if you don't pay it, you get a bigger one.

Does anyone know of any legal p2ps that you don't have to pay a monthly price (besides itunes), just pay for each song?

In Canada it is compleatly legal to download music. But to share your music for others to download is illegal. So I admit I download music.

OMG, so downloading some nice free opensource linux distro's is illegal if I download it through bit-torrent!? :O

You don't have to be downloading illegal files with p2p software. You could very well be downloading shareware or freeware. Who knows

I was reffering more to mp3s, and other copyright material that is not supposed to be given away for free :P
