Old  Chorme Much Faster Than Ever Before

Google has once again updated and unveiled its latest version of chrome which Google claims is 30% faster than its previous version. Well I have downloaded it but I have failed to find out any notable difference between them. What do you think about it?

Chrome is ****ing amazing. The only thing wrong with it right now is that when you try to print stuff, you don't have a selection option so like the only way you can print is the whole page.

All previews I found about Chrome 2 shows few things that I may like, so I wanted to download it for test.

But when I tried to download new version, I got only the "old" Chrome 1. (I tried it 3 times)

to playpharma: That is maybe why you can't see any difference between Chrome 1 and "Chrome 2" 'cos you got the old one, too Just for fun, try to have a look to Control Panel->About google chrome, to see the version you have

Only information I managed to get is that users of Chrome 1 will get automatic update... ?
Hope that google is not going to update my browser without asking me to do so

I did use it yesterday but I think nothing has changed.. For me the speed is still the same or maybe I'm just expecting too much from it that's why I'm a bit disappointed. =)

Old  Google update Chrome without asking permissions

I mentioned in my previous post that I have Chrome 1 and couldn't upgrade it.

Guess what happend ... the worst thing I expected from Google...

After I restarted my computer, few minutes ago (I did so after 3 or 4 weeks =)

Google upgraded my Chrome 1 to Chrome 2 without asking me to do so

I just got that information from my firewall. When I checked my Chrome, I had Chrome 2...

This is very unprofessional and I really don't want to guess what else may Google doing without asking my permission

------
I can't see improvement in speed, yet.
But I like their "Inspect element" tool... it enables you to do changes in CSS of visited page without possibility of destroy anything.
It shows even unused parameters that are in comments and you can try what happen if they are used...

I think you'll get the full benefit of Google Chrome if you are running a really fast machine like a quad-core processor and lots of RAM.
