We haven't proceeded with the transfer of the domain and files yet. I just sent the payment last night. If Indy wants to refund the money and sell the site to Hoster instead, I'm completely fine with that.

However, if he chooses to proceed with the transfer, then I won't stop him.

It's all up to Indy at this point. I'm not too fussy on getting my money back simply because I really like this site..

its fine Skribblez, if you have already paid, its done, what ever, its just that Indy should not be allowed to do that, its wrong and immature.

Here's an example - for you that don't seem to understand:

You list a car for sale on eBay.
You want atleast £500 for the car - So you set a reserve of £500.
The listing ends at below £500, the car goes unsold.
Afterwards, someone approaches you offering £500 for the car.
You sell it.

See? It's not immature. Nor is it unprofessional. It's business.

What you did is :-

You list a car for sale on eBay.
You want atleast £500 for the car - So you set a reserve of £500.
Someone approaches you to offer below £500 and you make a deal!
The listing ends at below £500, the car goes lesser than you thought.
Afterwards, someone approaches you offering £500 for the car during the sale because of your greediness.

It's not as if I just bought a turnkey script, marketed it a bit, then sold it for a quick buck.

I designed the whole thing myself. Every page on this site was hand coded by me. Next to every generator was hand coded by me. It took about 2 weeks to complete, then a further 3 weeks or so of promoting it every day.

so don't have a starting bid lower than what you want to get for it!

common man, think about it.

If $200 isn't worth all the work you put into it, why start the bidding at that price if you would not accept it?

You should have thought about that before hand. But you did put in a disclaimer, so i see what your saying. However, you should have started the auction at a price you were willing to let it go by.

I've watched auction programmes on TV where the people selling set a reserve of - say - $100. Then the bloke doing the auction starts at something like $50. If the reserve price isn't met, the bloke says "see me afterwards", or words to that effect, so that if someone really wants it they can buy it privately. Makes sense, and that's just what Gary's done here.
