Thanks for the warm wishes.

My family has just moved to a huge new house (and huge new accompanying mortgage )

The house was originally built in the late 1890's, it has 12 ft high studs (high ceilings), the ceiling is decoratively plastered, it has 5 bedrooms and a huge grassed lawn with a dozen or so fruit trees (apples, plums, nectarines, tangerines, grapefruits, lemons, limes, peaches, olives, feijoas etc), lawns take over 3 hours to mow so I will buy a ride on mower asap. We have an ensuite, kids have a room each plus a spare/office (I hope), double garage, workshop and carport, 2 garden sheds, huge balcony etc....

The list of features is huge, it's a great step up for us and we are settling in well.

The only letdown is the 2-3 week wait for broadband to get connected and having to use a friends dial-up.

You'll get some pics, probably of our drunken housewarming party next weekend but you'll have to wait till broadband is hooked up soon.
