You'll probably change that opinion of yours in the near future as more software(s) are compatible with Vista IMO. On a side note, 4GB is only the "minimum requirement" from what I've heard.

I really like Microsoft's Vista, I have no complaints with my Ultimate version .

I don't like Vista, too slow. But I hate IE, validating code and then getting it to work in IE is a nightmare. I had Jquery and CSS issues today with IE I'm a Mac guy after using Vista for a while, got a 24 inch iMac and a MacBook

That doesn't make sense, if you are going to do video editing i will have to search for an OS that do good with 1Gb? to be worthy?

4Gb is around 100 Dlls that's cheap if you can have it.

I love Vista.. I dont know how people cant like it? XP is good.. But Vista is better in all ways

I've gotten used to it now. I still like XP though. I think Vista is more stable than it was 6 months ago.

I have liked it for ages, its very good due to it finds and install software if you plug a printer into it etc.

I am not ready to pay so much for the hardware just to run Vista. That crazy

My laptop came with vista, works great on it. Haven't had any problems yet.
