uhhh... ever hear of an "iPod"?

However, people are saying that the "iPhone" won't be as popular because there isn't a HUGE need for a cool small phone, as there are a lot of companies already out there that make them.

When the iPod came out, it was the first of it's kind, and there was a huge demand for a new style of music player.

I would never dream of buying a phone made by a company with no experience of making them, stick to the good companies

Fair point. My old phone was playing up last week so I put it in a slush puppy, it still worked so I through it against a garage, it smashe in to pieces but still worked so in the end I through it into a river, no idea if its working now but at least I got rid of the horrid thing.

If apple do release the iPhone I will probably get one as a replacement for my old phone, if they don't or its not avalible in the UK right away I will be getting a white LG Chocolate.

I'll read some reviews and see how it is.

It will have two batteries, one for the cellphone part, and one for the ipod part. The phone will be TINY (slider), and will have a 4 and 8 gig version. I believe it will be on the top 3 carriers (cingular, verizon, sprint [?]). The prices are supposedly going to be $250 and $300.

None of these facts are 100%, but most of them are from trusted sources.

Yes, I heard the same as well except rather than different prices I heard it would be open/unlocked to any network.

I suppose we will just have to wait and see what its actually like.

Bad idea, my sisters had it since it came out and all shes had is hassle with it. Sometimes when its charging it doesnt fully charge and as Dream says, she hardly ever gets a good signal.
