  Old  Javascript help :(

Hey guys, i'm sure someone here will be able to help me!

I have a image gallery with pictures http://www.talkfreelance.com/weareskyhigh/walls.php

Now, at the moment it's botched and doesn't work....basically, i've tried several things and a few people have had a go but can't seem to do it (well patrick can but he's away) when you click on an image it needs to popup a new window with a larger version of the picture and autoresize the window for this. On the popup there also needs to be some text with details of the piece.

The problem with the current system is.....

a) It is using the size field to display the image, this has nothing to do with the image and is the real life size of the artwork.

b) I need the window to resize according to the width and height of the image and abit more to include the text.

If someone can do this, please add me to msn/aim Custom title at stake!

To be honest all you have to do is change a few parameters. Take your current link and rather than have set width and height for the pop up. Make it pass variables to your function. You need to also pass the image url to the pop up in order to get it to display correctly.

Good luck.

I think he's looking for somebody who is code savvy to do the job for him. If you can do this and want to do this, get in touch with Robson ASAP.

i remember seeing something on either sitepoint.com or alistapart.com that did exactly this.
do a search one those sites, it's not a very complicated thing to do in JS.

i would post an example here if i knew JS but i don't but even then it wasn't a complicated thing to do. hope you find that article
