i'm not sure if wordpress uses an SSI lib which some scripts do use to allow users to extract data from the scripts database...

as i don't personally use wp i don't actually know for sure but if they do use ssi libs then they will be in the wp documentation.

otherwise you would have to manually extract that data from the database and process it through another script to view it on your site..

so basically the file will grab the data from the database and display it in an organized fashion.. the best thing about doing it this way is that you can make it look however you want it to look.

Jako,

I used a combination of lastRSS (http://lastrss.oslab.net/) and prototype Ajax.Updater to create a simple fetch routine or wordpress' rss feed onload of the page. it works quite well - esp. since it cache's the feed for a predetermined amount of time so you're not constantly hitting the wordpress scripts.
