  Old  Replacing Parsed Data?

I have some data that I have parsed and it is trying to load an internal file. How can I overwrite the file location to load the entire address? I have tried string replace, maybe I am doing it incorrectly.

What do you mean it is trying to load an internal file?

If you are just trying to replace data http://php.net/str_replace will do

The problem is the page I am duplicating is generating information via javascript. If I load it into a frame. it then will show the source. I need to take the source from the ifram which is loading from an external link. I have already found that javascript does not allow for it and was wondering if there was a way to do it in PHP.

You can access the content via javascript on the parent page (ie the one that is loading the iframe). You best bet is going that route, if you need to parse the data in php then you will most likely need to use an ajax call after the page as loaded to store the contents in a file or parse it on the fly.

The problem I am having is that it is loaded from an external source. This means javascript will not allow for the loading of the code due to security restrictions.

  Old  cURL?

I want to cURL this site but the roster is generated with JavaScript. I want to check this page frequently without having to store the js file on my server. Is there a way to cURL it and get the roster? I have been trying for over a week.

I tried iFrames but JavaScript won't let you get the code out of an iFrame from an external source. I tried str_replace to replace the location of the JavaScript files being called by the file but it didn't work. Any suggestions would be a great help.

Thanks.

No need to create a second thread. Your question is just as valid in the other one as it is here in your new thread. Merging the two of them now.

I wasn't sure what category it fit into. Sorry, I am a bit confused with all of this. I am still trying to learn it.

Thanks for the merge.
