Pff Godaddy sucks, Namecheap is way more 1337 then godaddy. Though never had a problem with them before.

yea thats right namecheap owns.

but then i dont know it makes sense in a way becuase of their business. you buy a domain and you get an account.

its like a bank. you go in, and open an bank account. and automaticcaly your information is given to them. (your account).
when you close that account, i am sure most banks keep some of your personal data for future references.

Ya, like said above, 90% of accounts are created in the process of buying a domain, they don't make an account then buy one.

namecheap > godaddy, except godaddy accepts my gift cards, and I could not figure how how to make namecheap accept them.

The website is awful, and they're a ****ing awful registrar. All their domain interface tools are annoying as well. I hate buying domains off people that are reg'd at godaddy.

You guys just dont get it do you..

All of these comments have been based around me not understanding that i obviously should register a domain then sign up.

I don't want to Register a domain! I never did! I Bought a domain from Craddock (If you actually bothered to read my post!!)

I didn't want to buy a domain! I wanted an account, so Craddock could forward his domain to mine! - Why should i have to BUY a domain, in order to have an account?..

So read! people! before you even begin to type.

Godaddy is rubbish. I've never liked it.

I mean, it asks you so many things and like signups and newsletters and additional domain things.

But then Namecheap, my favourite, you just buy the domain and 5 seconds later its registered. Very cheap, Free whoisguard and awesome options.

You were also moaning about the website, hence why people replied with the replies that they did. Nobody is saying you wanted to register a domain, we simply stated that it's not so easy to simply register an account as most people do that by registering a domain - keyword being most.

Either way, surely commonsense would (should) have told you that there would be a register link on a login page.
