Just so everyone knows, this is what happened:
The upgrade was scheduled for 12 PM EST. During the day, I figured I was going to make the update closer to that time so not much stuff was lost from my clients. But just in case I posted in the billing panel, encouraging the clients to make backups just in case. Then, I left the house for 2-3 hours, and the technician must have misunderstood me, and ran the upgrade in the middle of the day, while I was away, and I couldn't make the back up.

@ Christian: I do not know what to say to you, I knew you weren't a serious client, because when you signed up you told us you were only going to stay for a month. Which leaves a lot of doubt, to your judgment.

@ Vizion:
I thought, you were a friend, but all your doing is helping Christian escalate this into something, that could of been prevented.

@ Conrad:
Thanks for not spamming, and being a reasonable person.

@ Haris: I don't know what to say, just good way to escalate something, that shouldn't be gone this far.

Well, it's a mistake but that's a thing of the past now. It's unchangeable and I don't think .amaZe would do that purposely. Why would he purposely do it so he could ruin his own reputation. It's true that he forgot to back things up but remember that he's a human like you and we all make the same mistakes.

I think he would be glad to give you a refund if you weren't happy with the result.

Thanks for understanding.

I offered him a refund and to host him for the rest of this month and next month for free. But he chose otherwise, and decided he rather insult me on MSN.

Not insult, I can post the conversation here if you want, as I recall you were getting rather defensive because you relised you have made a mistake, you posted the warning in the billing pannel you say? I don't think its anyone goes to the billing panel every few hours to check, espically for a new host. and yes Ryan , they should of done it before.
