What domain do you regret not buying?

yeah i typed in cd.com yesterday (before I saw this thread) and was shocked it was for sale. If you bid now your bid must be over $400. But I won't be suprised if it goes for much more than that.

I'd hazard a guess at somewhere between $3 and $7 million for cd.com

Yes, it is a valid domain. So long as the domain is registered (i.e., no-one allows it to become unregistered) then it can stay active. It is just that no more new 2 letter domains are available/allowed.

theres some good iPod domains i can think of now that might be worth alot and are available, but im not too sure if it'll be worth that much so im sorta hesitating to buy it.

After I sold springbreakacapulco.com for $1000, I regretted not buying the entire list of popular springbreak destinations.

This guy I know bought m.bz for $400. I think it was a rip because who types in .bz domains? They're not very popular...I mean, he claimed one letter domains are so rare but I don't care...I still think it was a rip.

Some domains I wish I could have registered would include Wahoo.com, because I could have competed with Yahoo. It would have been pretty cool IMO. I also wish I had the domain gameccs.com back. Netster grabbed it right before it expired - my registrar never notified me 30 days in advanced.

I also could have grabbed videogamer.us but I didn't. I was dumb, however, I do know the current owner. It doesn't get as much traffic as I would have imagined. And also, I used to own game-evolution.com, but my registrar sold it. I am NEVER going back to them. I paid $75 for 10 years by my friend's debit card, and they say I never paid them about 6 months after I got the domain. What frigin frauds...I mean, I didn't have a reciept because it was so long after I purchased it. (10-domains.com ... never go with them) They stole it, I believe, because I recieved a lot of traffic with it. And now they're trying to sell it...

I'm sure there's a lot more I could have gotten...a whole lot more. I should have, I could have, but I didn't.

You know I had the domain gaming-cms.com and just recently sold it for $15.00 and I now realized that I could have easily developed that domain name and made some big bucks. Although the "-" takes away from the value a lot. Still it is a decent domain name in my opinion.

You only needed to type www.cd.com into your browser address bar and see that it exists to save yourself that little humiliation didn't you.

Salathe is right. Any 2 letter.com domains that expire won't be allowed to be re-registered and any that already exist are fine.

If I owned a 2 letter .com I certainly wouldn't be letting it expire!
