Village Genius will become famous soon enough

  Old

I see the point, but it is still the type of tacky forwards I ask people not to send to me.

As far as it goes logically, his business could have miserably failed because no one buys produce from a door to door salesman. He could have been a bum on the street for refusing to just get an email. But I guess that doesn't fit with the moral the story was based around. It's also worth mention that they would never say "you don't exist" if you don't have an email. Partially because email is a secondary method of communication and partially because they could give you one. But again, the reality doesn't fit with the moral the story is based around.

Just another forward, nothing more, nothing less.

I guess the morals are alright: if you don't give up, you'll have a shot at a decent life. But imagine, after a few years running his door-to-door bussiness, he bought a computer, he set up a website and took control of online food shopping, he probably would be a billionaire :P

So, I conclude, that his stubbornness prevented him from becomming a lot richer.

Yea, working at home saves a lot of time, especially being able to make your own schedule most of the time. Work when you want, whenever you want. Most "out in the world" jobs, have a normal schedule you have to abide by, which you can't really manuver around with other things in your life you're trying to obtain, complete, accomplish, etc.

Nothing can beat home based job/business. I'd love the idea of doing what we want after finishing the days work schedule and find time bonding with my family. I will stick to working on this way rather than the usual 8 to 5.
