This is good to know. I too register for one year, but i was always curious who went for the 10 year deal.

I usually go for about two years, but I've registered a five year one today. It's my own name, so I figure I'll still want it in five years' time. Not planning a name change any time soon

If i feel the website can go on longer for the 1 year i will re-new it, its better to do that than buy more years and not use it.
