Ever notice that everyone who tries to contact them about problems with their host can't reach them (trust me, I've seen them online everyday, but no response), but everyone else has been able to?

1. no (support is offline when I checked)
2. earnershost.com
3. websolvents.com
4. hostedfx.com
5. swivelhost.com

Lets compare (by numbers you listed)
24/7 toll-free phone support
1. no (no phone support)
2. no (no phone support)
3. no (no phone support)
4. no (no phone support)
5. unknown (site wont load)
Liquidweb: Yes

24/7 ticket staff support
1. no (support is offline when I checked)
2. unknown (doesnt say)
3. unknown (doesnt say)
4. unknown (doesnt say)
5. unknown (site wont load)
Liquidweb: Yes

Own datacenter
1. no
2. no
3. no
4. no
5. unknown (site wont load, chances are no)
Liquidweb: Yes

The difference is clear. As I stated before, if I have an admin problem, I can talk to an admin within 20min at peak hours. You don't have staff, when you and your affiliate aren't there there is no support.

Amaze, I didn't want to start anything, but since you wanted me to demonstrate my point. Liquidweb is one of the largest webhosts out there, it has a large staff and a solid corporate backing, your host does not. You said yourself that you don't intend on going with this when you are older, so for all I know your host could end up sold or just gone like many other small hosts. That is the difference.

Very well put Village!

Proves a valid point. Web hosting is not a 10 minute wonder!

I think I might have to switch when I launch my first website after a very long time.
