yeah first enable disk use from itunes and then it should act just like an external drive and show up in my computer

and if u wanna transfer ur music, then u have to get a 3rd party program like EphPod and it can copy over the mp3's from the ipod onto ur computer.

All the mp3's are located in the Ipod Control folder, its a hidden folder so you will have to have "show hidden files and folders" turned on. After that, they are all in seperate folders all named weird. But you can copy them to your HDD and import them since they have ID3 information.

yeah u could do that but it could get confusing and messy with all those folders, so its easier to just do it with a 3rd party program
