  Old  Monitor Upgrade

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a new monitor, the one i currently have it a CRT monitor. The colours are a bit messed up and it's a little old now.

I'm thinknig of upgrading to a flat screen one, but as i'm currently still at college i'm wanting to spend as little as possible. Can anyone recommend some monitors for cheap prices? In the uk would be best, as shipping would be an extra cost.

Thanks.

I'd recommend getting a widescreen LCD, not sure where to buy from in the UK.

I'm in the same position, replacing my "dual" monitor that i use with my laptop.

$300 Canadian budget. Looking for something in the wide screen format.

I'm only looking for a 17" by the way guys, my current is a 17" and it's big enough for me. I don't want anything bigger becuase it will be using silly resolutions.

And as for a budget, as i said, as little as possible would be great

I know you said you're only looking for 17", but I love my Hanns-G 19" monitors. I believe they're one of the cheapest around. Very little problems with either in my dual monitor setup.
