Old  Facebook $750 mil. offer rejected

Just saw on the news that the owner of Facebook.com has rejected an offer of $750 million dollars for his website.

http://www.businessweek.com/technolo...7s+top+stories

He started the site in 2004 and made $85.00 per day. Now he's been offered 3 quarters of a billion dollars. And he's rejected it.

I think this guy is sick. I believe his asking price is a firm, two billion.

Also - I believe myspace was just sold (resold) for $580 million.

That's ridiculous.

Whilst I could honestly shake the guys hand for sticking to his firm offer,
I would also love to slap him with a trout.

When money gets to an amount that large, an extra 0 on the end doesn't even matter.

Just imagine the interest on $580,000,000 a day!

:-|

Regards.

There are rumors the owners make over that much in revenue, so why not keep it?

Facebook is honestly worth more than Myspace even though it has less traffic, because Facebook did it right. Myspace has never been close to perfect with constant coding and server errors. Facebook is close to flawless with rarely a problem.
