  Old  Firefox issue.

Hey guys,

Possibly theres a simple solution to my problem. (most likely)

When I close firefox all my settings are forgotten and I have to redefine them. As well as this there is currently no address in the address bar, and when i visit different pages it often remains on say the homepage.

I have tried uninstalling/ reinstalling FF but nothing has changed.

Thanks.

Try editing your configs - Type about:config in your firefox browser

Hmm are you using FF 2? If you are try downgrading to 1.5 as this may fix it. Also it could be a bug.

tried downgrading, also tried fully uninstalling (including profile data) and re-installing.

Both unsuccessful.

When you uninstall and reinstall do you remove the directory entirely from the Program Files folder? (Assuming you run Windows).

downgraded to 1.0.6, then re-upgraded.

Fixed the problem of settings not remaining when firefox is closed.

But thats only half of my problem URL's still arent displaying in the navigation bar when i click on a link.
