Old  A couple of HTML tools

I have a couple of HTML tools that I have developed while working as a freelancer. So I am wondering if I can package them and sell them online. However packaging each of them and setting a website with an online demo will cost me time, so I have to decide on which one to start work first. And this forum looks like the perfect place to ask other web developers:

Would these tools be useful to you?
Would you buy such a tool?
What price would you consider reasonable for such tools (provided that you find these tools useful)?

Below is a description of the programs that I have developed:

The first tool is a program that takes an HTML file and tells you small search engine optimizations that can be made, e.g. tables missing "summary" attribute, images missing "alt" attribute, if some text can be placed inside
h1, h2 tags, etc.

The second tool is a program that takes an HTML file and converts all tables into DIV tags + some CSS code. This program still needs improvements and after an HTML file is converted it often needs to be edited manually, but still the program saves lots of manual work when you start converting HTML with tables to tableless code.

Any comments on the usefulness of these programs are greatly appreciated.

It will take me 3-4 days to clean-up the user interface of each tool and put an online demo. So please let me know which one do you prefer to see online first. The tool that gets more votes will go online first :-)

The first tool is already available with online validators, there are also some free offline validators available already too.

The second tool would be very interesting to trial/see etc.

Like Julian stated, the first tool is available, but your second tool sounds really interesting.

Great. Then I will create an online version for the table2css converter tool and will drop a message in this thread with the URL of the online demo. This will happen towards the end of the next week. If people like the online demo, I will also make available a downloadable version of the tool, although this probably will take me more time.

Hello, everybody.
Sorry for the delay before providing the demo for the table to div converter - just like most of the visitors here I am freelancing and have been a bit busy lately.

Anyway, I have created an online demo: http://www.table2css.com/

The software is in early development stage, so there are a few limitations:

- When converting tables to divs, it does not recognize external styles. The divs will inherit the styles from the corresponding tables, but the program will not be able to use these styles in order to calculate row/column sizes. Only inline styles and attributes are recognized when computing width/height of table cells.
- At the moment it requires that converted tables have their width specified. It can convert tables without a specific width but the resulting div will expand and occupy all parent's width.
- At the moment cellpadding is not taken into account when generating the divs.
- Cell colspan/rowspan attributes are not taken into account as well.
- The merge single rows/merge single cells options are not working at the moment.

All comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
