Old  Using GMAIL to host files

Ok, i know that you can do this, and I have done in the past; theres a few standalone program's as well as firefox plugin's to do it..

However I have a question:
Last time I used this to store images, which I later refered to on another website, they did not display. It worked out you had to be logged into gmail, for the images to display... Is there anyway around this?

...Basically I just want to use it like imageshack or something like that, to host my images, which I can link to..

Help appreciated

Unless you really need to host your images with gmail i'd just use imageshack, flickcabin or somthing.

The only ways you'll be sharing files on Gmail is to either send them via email, or let someone login to your account.

Not True I am afraid.

You can use cURL and log into your gmail account and display the image. But thats a whole different story and would make your host slower.
