Wow dude...who cares if its 3$ of 8$. Its for a freakin year

1and1.com had 1.99$ for a .US domain a while ago...i think they're at 5 bucks for a regular .com/net/org

I am all about saving money but you also need to take into account other things. I have heard people that have a hard time transferring domains from places like 1 & 1. I don't have any experience with Yahoo domains but I try to keep all mine in one or two places. Currently Godaddy and Namecheap are registrars that I can highly recommend. Both for their ease of use and added "no-cost" features.

Well... 1and1 is the cheapest place i know of...i have 3 domains and i registered one more today at hostway.com (only domains, do not get hosting there) so i would recommend that, although it is 6.75...

Some places might have specials or what not but at the end of the day support/ease of use/options for a registrar should be priority.....the price can only vary a few $.

I totally recommend godaddy.com for their service and support. Prices are very reasonable and they accept PayPal.

Well, I think wherever you look it will be about $8, you could proboably get some for about $6 but without features like WHOISguard and all the other things.

idotz.net accepts paypal and you do not need to have a credit card attached like you do with godaddy :P
