  Old  [asp.net] Md5 Question

right this is really simple. i know it is. i just cant see whats wrong

im trying to create an md5 hash from a variable

ive googled and everyone seems to point to a class called

MD5CryptoServiceProvider()
every time i call this class i get told

thanks, ive sussed the original problem i think but now its just not working

argh whats wrong with doing

dim md5 as string = server.md5("blah")
