On May 12, 2008, a massive earthquake measured at 8.0 on the Richter scale hit the Sichuan province in China.
10 million lives were affected by this earthquake.

We want to help. Volunteers from all around the world have gathered together to create a website project, whose purpose is to not only raise awareness, but to also raise money for the millions of victims.

On May 20th, we created a video explaining the details of the China Sichuan earthquake. It was shown to the high schools in our city. The death toll of this earthquake was 34,000 at that time.
On May 25th, myself and over 100 motivated high school student volunteers in Richmond (Canada) went out to two major malls to promote the GracefulYouth.org website through already-printed flyers. The death toll then have doubled to over 62,000.
