New Forum: Member Website Announcements
Hi,
I have added a new forum for "Member Website Announcements" : http://www.talkfreelance.com/f85-mem...uncements.html
This is to help clear out the clutter that keeps getting posted in the marketplace "Other Offers and Requests" forum, which is getting inundated with "look at my new website", "I have just updated my Blog" type posts, which really have nothing to do with the marketplace.
As a lot of these may be interesting to users, I didn't want to just delete them all, so thought it appropriate to create a seperate forum.
So you can post these types of threads here - we will take a judgement on anything we consider total spam and nothing that would interest the community.
Thanks

being civilized i will say
rules needed are :
Minimum Post Count
Minimum Advertisement, even if 5 days then if someone updates blog in a day, just repost in your last thread with a new update.

I agree with juliov here actually, would make more sense for someone to have 5 posts or something.. Just so they don't come to the forum just to advertise every few days..
Just my two cents.

I don't get it, why don't you just make life easy on yourselves and just make it another subforum in the marketplace with the same permissions as the other advertising forums? Otherwise, you may get confuesed with all the various limits.

I would like to see 100+ post count before allowing users to fill this forum.
You could use this as a more prestigious advertising forum for the older members.
