looks pretty decent execpt for all those things Tyro just mentioned and also the images use on the sidebar all use completly different styles. (i.e one is 2d vector then the next is 3d vector then it changes again to glossy 3d figures)

hope that helped

Damn, thats gotta be the most helpful post i've read in a while.

Like the others, the background strays me away. I would also work on the gradients, they seem a bit rough to me. I like the sidebar as well. I would also suggest changing the fonts on the nav and the quotes near the bottom of your design. Maybe make it one solid gray color and reduce the opacity.

I think you have a good start.

It's nice. But the background. I think there's a little bit problem in that.

The design is ok, but the background could give someone a seizure.

Good:
Choice of color and font for the nav bar
Logo

Bad:
Background - I agree that the stripes could be headache inducing. Try thicker stripes and more faded.
Choice of both color and font for the menu bar - try something other than Stencil.
Header - Everything else was done in a green, a blue header w/o any green hints looks out of place.
Icons in the menu bar - If you want to keep them, make them smaller and more cleanly spaced.

You've got the good start of an idea here. I'd like to see what you end up doing with it.

=)

Like everyone has said the background.

I don't like the button font, nor the gradients on the buttons. The font in the header doesn't appeal to my aswell.

On the plus side the icons to the right split the design up well and in my opinion look very good.

IMO the design isn't BAD, what it lacks is a proper header, the body is a little messed up. The background needs to be removed its a little distracting and it takes away attention from the design.

Well BG as everyone else. Furthermore, I think you should extend it a little. The site looks too small.

Further I'll recommend Remove the blue 'Dev Boy' to go with the theme as well, as it looks out of proportion. And the Text for Logo Design, the right one. The Text without Lines would look better.
