Mine used to be on 24/7, but I turn it off at night for the same reason. We're trying to save the world, and all these little things help
4 hours 15 minutes.

stupid as I am, I did leave my computer running all over holiday by accident for two weeks, 14 days. One hell of a waste of energy =[
I never keep mine on for more than 5 hours at a time, and I spend about 4 hours on it, 1 hour doing something else, normally homework.
Over here in the United Kingdom we are alot more energy aware, if I may say. There is no point having it running while you aren't there, unless it takes an hour to boot. Recently on a program called 'mythbusters' they concluded that unless you were going out of the room for something like 0.214 seconds there was no point in leaving the light on in that room.

just as a question, to anyone outside of the United Kingdom:
Do you get pressure on your power consumption?
