not quite, alot more skill goes into sites such as this than in the sleek web 2.0 sites. I work in both styles and i can guarentee you it takes alot longer and has to be alot more thought out than any other style. You have to do alot of work on shadows, perspectives and lighting to be able to produce the most basic of interfaces, from then on you just try and improve through experience, tutorials can't teach you anything when you reach a certain level.

It's probably that half the tutorials on this style were based on his designs. I know him personally and he really is a design-God. Plus, he works for one of your favorite studios.
