Old  Looking for Someone with PayPal IPN experience

Hi,

I am looking for someone who has experience with paypal IPN. My programmer has created a working checkout system with paypal sandbox for my site at http://www.wiredflame.com, but when I switch the email to my own paypal email address, it won't work.

Please PM me right away. I pay paying an hourly fee. If you have MSN, please add me at kinkarso@gmail.com.

Thank you,
Donny

Hi, I don't want to undermine etechdesigns but this could be a simple case of setting the correct IPN preferences in your Paypal account. This is a 5 minute job, just login to Paypal, click on your Profile and under the Selling Preferences column you should see a link labelled "Instant Payment Notification Preferences", just click that, turn on IPN and enter the Notification URL that the programmer should have provided for you.

If you still can't get it to work then I can also do this for you, my minimum charge is $50 - which should cover the time it would take, assuming you're correct about it all being finished and just needs setting up.

KarlP's solution should work. It just seems like a small preference error in your paypal. Let me know if you still can't get it after you do what KarlP said. I can probably do it for free.

Yes it seems to be too simple according to the description given here, but with my experience things turn out to be quite different or complicated once you start working on them. So it always good to assume some unseen scenes when things are to be done.
