1. When you submit your site to topsites, and you get a code but when you search the topsite it says your site cant be found?

2. When a topsite crashes and leaves a bunch of text on your site.

3. The topsite buttons, make your site load slower.

Use directories that are free and don't require reciprocal links instead then?

1. When you submit your site to topsites, and you get a code but when you search the topsite it says your site cant be found?

Verifications process? Rejected site? Do check with them. There's a contact us form for a reason.

2. When a topsite crashes and leaves a bunch of text on your site.

The reciprocal link image is broken when a topsite crashes therefore it changes into link. It's annoying, so do check with topsites regularly and remove the broken codes.

Yeah, they are to blame. Badly optimize gifs and jpegs. Report the owner of the topsite.

Not at all. When I did have a very successful proxy of my own which I sold off because I couldn't keep up with it anymore, I never submitted it to a top site in the first place. There are numerous other methods to build your proxy website and better methods at that.

1. It just meens they havent approved you yet, since most topsites are on an APPROVE basis.

2. Just take the code out, takes two minutes.

3. Put them in an iframe so it doenst slow down the index.

iFrame will slow down the index page.

Bleh. In the past week, I've lost 75% of my proxy traffic.
