Contests Forum - Visibility

Hey guys,

I just noticed something and don't think it has been mentioned before. It could be a bug or feature, or plain oversight but the Contests forums are not very easy to find at all!

On the homepage forum listing? No.
On the Marketplace subforum listing? No.

I literally had to search for "contest" to find a topic in the forum in order to get there. Please, please make it visible to the world just like all of the other ones that we have.

Maybe then people might start contributing to the contests area, perhaps.

P.S. I'm on the "new" skin (default background colour) if that makes any difference.

Yes, a decision has been made by staff to remove the contests forum.

Well, wow, that's a shame. Could you kindly make this decision some form of official announcement or whatever because I didn't know you guys had decided to take that action.

So, where can we put up "fun" events/contests now? The marketplace?

I think other offers/request can be suitable for it. However; they will not be Talk Freelance managed anymore.

Thanks Jeff, I take it that means the minimum prize amounts has therefore been banished and I can make "mini-contests" for $10, a domain, civic pride, etc?

By my opinion/authority. I'm going to say you are right, no guidelines.
