  Old  joomla CMS

Ok, my old partner from a company I used to work for now can not create a custom CMS for me because he is very busy, but I was looking at joomla and it actually looks pretty good. I was trying to figure out how to add it to a gaming site I have already coded in valid xHTML/CSS but I am absolutely horrible with those things. If anyone is willing to help me install this that would be AMAZING. If you do want to help please just post in this thread. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: And if you know any other free CMS's. Preferable one that would work well on a gaming template.

You know, if all you are trying to do is install joomla, it's fairly straight foward. Basicly, create a database (you can do this in cpanel if you ahve it very easily), download the software, extract it somewhere on your server, change any relevant permisions (in your ftp client you would change permisions to read write execute temporarily if it says so in the joomla readme), then point your browser at the install program and your done.

By the way though....You may want to check out Drupal before using Joomla...Drupal is pretty nice and probally a whole lot more reliable than joomla.

Ya I just found webspell, I talked to one of the staff there and showed me a site using webspell, it is PERFECT. Now all I need to do is make my template expandable and spend some time learning how to install it

example site using webspell: http://www.pain-is-coming.com/index.php?site=news
