I don't know this if this is the right section, but what do you guys prefer? In the long run, what is more successful?

vBulletin has much higher security and more professional companies/communities use it for that reason

This belongs in development software.
VB: Not cheap, but you get what I pay for, I love my copy of VB
phpBB: Free, cumbersome and annoying. it is hard to mod and comes with few of the advanced features VB comes with.
In the end, you get what you pay for.

I know you may not like me saying this, but the price for VB is way too much for me, I use a board system called MyBBoard. Ive used them on my recent forum about Wiis (link in sig) and I think there great
