  Old  Hackintosh

Hello,

I'm not going to be building a new computer for a while now, but I was wondering if anyone here has built one and how they did it. I read "Building a Hackintosh Apple Can't Sue You For", but this guide is hardware-specific.

I would be looking to build a computer using an ATX motherboard, and that guide is for a mini-ITX.

If anyone has any hardware suggestions, that would be great!

I would be dual-booting this with Linux, so that I could use the Mac partition for using some things such as Adobe software, and use the Linux partition for everything else.

I followed the UD3P guide at:

http://leopardsoup.pbworks.com/

Full parts list:

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...umber=10429825

As mentioned on the Leopard Soup wiki, the motherboard and graphics card and the parts you most need to check for compatibility, but that's not too hard as InsanelyMac has a forum dedicated to hardware discussion.

Other things you'll want to read before attempting any build:
