  Old  OnMouseOver - Swapping Images

Looking at the source code to make this page , is there an easier way to swap images like this? And using image maps on the second image (the onmouseover image state)?

Thanks,
Mason

Try using simple css as you would in a navigation bar?

Look at the source of the navigation here, http://wppotential.com/showcase/inde...ptheme=DarkTea

Thanks, but the client who I am making this site for wants this.

I'll keep trying at it, I think I can probably figure it out.

Thanks,
Mason

My first bit of advice would be not to use two 250kb gif images

It's probably the simplest way of doing it - you could achieve the same thing more effectively in Flash, perhaps (although that then makes accessibility an issue)

Look into a simple javascript framework like MooTools, jQuery, Prototype too, which makes things like that a lot simpler (and even if not for this example, it's a great thing to know about)
